By accessing and using the Site, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of your personal data. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must refrain from using the Site.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for updates. Continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo, including booking an appointment regardless of parental consent in accordance to NY State law.

4. Services

Chu Studios provide tattoo services and related offerings, including but not limited to custom tattoo designs, tattoo consultations, and the booking of appointments. By booking an appointment or requesting a tattoo design, you agree to comply with the artist’s policies regarding conduct, preparation, and aftercare.

5. Booking & Appointments

  • Reservations: You can book tattoo appointments through the website. All bookings are subject to availability.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your tattoo appointment. The deposit will be credited toward the final cost of your tattoo.

  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be made at least 1 week in advance. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of your deposit or additional fees.

6. Tattoo Design & Copyright

  • All designs created by Chu are the intellectual property of Chu Studios unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Clients requesting custom tattoo designs will be provided with a digital proof on the day of the appointment.

  • Clients are prohibited from copying or using any tattoo design created by Chu for commercial purposes without proper consent.

7. Payment

  • Payments for tattoos are due upon completion of the service.

  • We accept various forms of payment, including Zelle, Venmo, and cash.

  • Prices for services are provided in advance, but an additional 4.5% NY Sales Tax is applied to all transactions.

8. Health & Safety

  • You must provide accurate and complete information about your health and medical history prior to getting a tattoo. This includes, but is not limited to, any allergies, medications, skin conditions, or previous tattoos that may impact the tattooing process.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who is otherwise deemed unsuitable for tattooing for health or safety reasons.

9. Aftercare

  • Aftercare instructions will be provided at the end of your tattoo session. It is essential to follow these instructions carefully to ensure proper healing and to prevent infections or complications.

  • We are not responsible for the healing process, complications, or infections resulting from improper aftercare or failure to follow instructions.

10. User-Generated Content

By submitting photos, reviews, or other content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for promotional or marketing purposes. You retain ownership of your original content but agree that we can use it without compensation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chu Studios and its affiliates are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site or services, including but not limited to personal injury, financial loss, or any damages arising from the tattooing process.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chu Studios, its officers, employees, agents, and artists from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or use of the Site.

13. Privacy

14. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to:
